SEAHOUSES GOLF CLUB - TERMS AND CONDITIONS - VISITORS The following notes are provided for your information and guidance, and to help us make your day at Seahouses an enjoyable experience. As with most golf clubs the staffs are obliged to strictly enforce the Rules of the Club and this applies to both members and visitors. The organiser of the visiting party is responsible for ensuring that the members of his/her party adhere to the rules, and for the conduct of the players. Whilst we do not insist on the provision of handicap certificates, we would expect inexperienced golfers to be accompanied on the course by experienced players. On arrival, the organiser should make himself/herself known to the Duty Bar Officer. Generally speaking the first tee is reserved for members: • up to 9.00am weekdays (excluding Thursdays) • up to 10.00am Thursdays • up to 10.30am on Saturdays *up to 10.30am, and between 1.00 and 3.00pm, on Sundays. Bookings may be possible within the above periods, but you should enquire direct to the Club in respect of these. The Maximum number for a party is 40, unless agreed with the Club Secretary. Play is from the yellow (Gents) and red (Ladies) tees only. Markers for nearest the pin, longest drive, Buggies and Trolleys can be obtained from the Bar Duty Officer. It is essential to reserve these prior to your visit. Cancellation Policy =================== You can cancel your booking on the web site by entering your unique reference number. If you cancel your booking more than 1 week before your date of play your payment made will be refunded. If you cancel your booking less than 1 week in advance we will retain a £10 per person deposit. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking, no refund will be made Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), then payment will be refunded.   Dress Code ========== Tailored trousers, shorts and skirts are acceptable and may be denim. Football or rugby shirts and shorts are not acceptable. Tailored sports shirts with collars are acceptable. Collarless t-shirts are not. If in doubt please contact us. Footwear – shoes or sandals should be worn within the clubhouse, but not spiked shoes. Spikes ======= Soft Spikes are preferred on the course. SEAHOUSES GOLF CLUB - TERMS AND CONDITIONS - OPENS These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility. Entries ======= All entries fees must be paid when booking. Please note that the entry fee is non-refundable unless the course is closed. The club reserves the right to allocate and change tee times to suit the needs of the competition. Players do NOT have the right to choose opponents to play with. Payment ======== To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. The transaction process will be in accordance with UK law and any data provided will not be sold to third parties. Full payment will be deducted from your card within 5 working days. Cancellation Policy =================== Please note that the entry fee is non-refundable unless the course is closed, and in this case a full refund will be made to your credit/debit card. We would encourage you to find a replacement if you are unable to play. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. It would be appreciated if you could inform us.
