Green Fee Rates CLUB GREENFEE INFORMATION: 1st October 2023 - 31st October 2023 Green fee: £130.00pp 1st November 2024 - 28th February 2025 Green fee: £95.00pp 1st March 2025 - 31st March 2025 Green fee: £150.00pp 1st April 2025 - 30th September 2025 Green fee: £230.00pp (Monday to Friday) £275.00pp (Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays) 1st October 2025 - 31st October 2025 Green fee: £150.00pp Please note that during winter months (normally November through March incl) we carry out annual essential maintenance and works. Occasionally there may be hole closures and/or a shortener course in play. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Payment ======= To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card. Visitors Green fees Full Payment will be taken on booking. Cancellation Policy =================== If you cancel your booking more than 3 months before your date of play, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel your booking less than 3 months before your date of play, you will lose your deposit. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking within 7 days of the booking you will not receive any refund and full payment will be taken. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), you will receive a full refund of your green fee or a voucher to use on another day free of charge, subject to availability. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= Handicap certificates are required for general play as this is an Open Championship Final Qualifying course and as such players must have the ability to play to a reasonable standard to ensure their enjoyment and those players on the course at the same time. Dress Code ========== Normal Golf Club dress codes apply. Therefore, players are expected to maintain a high standard of dress on the course and are required to wear smart conventional golfing attire with spike or dimpled golf shoes. Collarless tee shirts, jeans, track or shell suits, trainers or open sandals are not permitted on the Golf Course. Mock / Turtle neck Shirts may be worn. Men’s tailored shorts may be worn with knee length hose or white sport socks. Spikes ====== Metal or soft spikes are permitted - please take care as some areas of the course are slippery in damp conditions. Open Competitions ======= CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS OF COMPETITION 1. The competitors with the highest stableford score will win the respective competition. 2. Trophies, will remain the property of S. & A. Golf Club on permanent display in the Clubhouse. 3. Entries are open to bona fide members of recognised Golf Clubs. ALL competitors in the David Marsh Seniors & Men’s Seniors Team Open MUST be aged 55 years and over on the day of the tournament. 4. Any change of handicap must be notified to the Registration Desk on the day of the competition prior to play. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. 5. The Committee reserve the right to penalise competitors by 2 strokes if up to 5 minutes late on the 1st tee and disqualify players over 5 minutes late. 6. In the case of a tie, the Rules of the Lancashire Union of Golf Clubs will apply. 7. Catering facilities will be available on the day. 8. Competitors will be made Temporary Members of the Club for the day of the competition. 9. Casual dress is acceptable in the Clubhouse. Golf shoes and hats are not permitted in the main lounge and dining room at any time. 10. David Marsh Seniors all Prize Winners are expected to attend the evening prize presentation. 11. There will be no prize presentation for the Ladies Open, Men's Fourball Betterball pen, Men's Seniors Team of Four Open & Men's team of Four Open. Prize vouchers for these will be posted out to the prize winners once the competition has been finalised. Golf Buggies CLUB BUGGY INFORMATIOM: The club has 6 buggies. Pull carts £5.
