Payment ======= To book a tee time or competition entry on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. To secure your reservation full payment for each player must be paid at the time of booking, which will be deducted from your card. Your personal information is processed in accordance with GDPR and is not sold or passed to third parties. Once your booking has been processed you will receive and automated email to confirm the details. If you do not receive an email please contact the office by calling 01492 876450. Please arrive at the golf course at least 30 minutes before your pre-booked tee time and report to the Professional's shop to book in and collect your score card. The Club Professional will advise you of any relevant course information which may affect your round of golf. Cancellation Policy =================== You can cancel your booking on the website by entering your unique reference number. If you cancel your booking more than 2 weeks before your date of play, you may either transfer you booking to an alternative date or request a refund minus a cancellation fee of £10 per person, for both casual golf bookings and open competitions. The refund will be made to the credit or debit card used for the original payment. Please contact the office on 01492 876450 if you wish to reschedule your tee time. If you cancel your booking less than 2 weeks in advance there will be no refund. You may, however, transfer your booking to an alternative date. Please telephone the office on 01492 876450 to discuss this further. Failure to Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking you will not receive a refund or be permitted to transfer the booking to an alternative date. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather). You will receive a full refund of your green fee or competition entry fee. Handicaps ========= For general play golfers are not expected to hold a handicap. However, all golfers playing the course must be able to play to a handicap index equivalent to 54. For open competitions all entrants must have a current handicap and submit their Central Database of Handicaps (CDH) number when entering a competition online. All competitors will be expected to play to a handicap index of 28 or less for men and 36 or less for ladies. All entries for Open Competitions must be members of recognised (non virtual) Golf Clubs and have a fully developed handicap (at least 20 scores on their record) Please submit your CDH number & Home Club at time of entry. Dress Code ========== On the golf course normal golf dress code applies, no denim jeans, tailored shorts only, spikes may be worn on the golf course but are not permitted in the clubhouse. In the clubhouse smart casual dress applies at all times, spiked golf shoes, hats, ripped jeans, sleeveless vests or t shirts showing offensive slogans are not permitted at any time. Health & Safety =============== All visitors are asked to take care whilst using our facilities. For your own safety please review our course Health safety policy which is displayed on the notice board near the first tee. Using a Person Buggy ==================== If you or any golfer in your party is planning to use a personal buggy whilst playing at Maesdu please ensure you have Public Liability Insurance to a minimum value of £2,000,000, a copy of this must be submitted to the Club Professional before play. To play Maesdu you need to cross a public highway, therefore, your insurance must also include The Road Traffic Act. Golf Buggies The Professional has 6 buggies that can be booked. If you require a buggy, you should telephone the Professional on 01492 876450 to check availability.
