Third Party Product Providers we work in association with
We work with carefully selected Online Travel Agents (e.g. Booking.com). When you enquire about or book with these third parties, the relevant third-party product provider will use your details to provide you with information and carry out their obligations arising from any contracts you have entered into with them. They will be acting as a data controller of your information and therefore we advise you to read their Privacy Policy. These third-party product providers will share required information about you with us (e.g. room type purchased and dates of stay) which we will use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
When you are using our secure online booking system, your purchase is processed by a third-party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact us.
How do I opt out?
You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us and in relation to third party marketing. We will not make contact with you unless you have given your consent to be contacted by us. If then, you no longer want to receive direct marketing communications from us about the hotels and our favourite local areas, then you can change your preferences or completely unsubscribe in one of two ways:

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it is treated securely. Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with 128 Bit encryption on SSL across the entire website. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear in the address bar of modern web browsers such as Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems in line with our obligations as a data controller under the Data Protection Legislation. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Profiling
We may analyse your personal information to create a profile of your interests and preferences so that we can contact you with information relevant to you. Welcome to the Lanhydrock H&GC online golf booking facility. This facility is for single tee time (one to four player) reservations. Please contact the Club for group bookings or if you have any questions at 01208 262570 or email

Further conditions and guidance notes for general play, groups, society bookings and buggy hire can be found on our website or requested by email.
MAKING A BOOKING & PAYMENT
To book a tee time online please enter the information as requested. You will receive an email confirmation which YOU should print off or make a note of the reference as this will be required on your arrival at the Club. When you arrive for your round of golf, you should report to the Golf Shop before beginning your round.
Please note that the Golf shop opens generally between 7.15AM until 6.00PM. Players can report to our adjacent hotel reception desk for cards, buggy keys etc outside of shop hours.
REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
For general play you can cancel your booking by contacting Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club by email,
[email protected] or telephone 01208 262570. Please remember that your booking details will be required to confirm the cancellation. Please note that for Open Competitions, conditions set for each event override these general play rules. Please view Open Competition Rules on our website Golf then Events page at www.lanhydrockhotel.com If further details required please ask our Golf Shop prior to booking online.
Cancellations five days or more from the day of play will incur no charge and any fee taken will be returned. Please note Lanhydrock will not retain any card details once the transaction and play has been completed.
If you cancel your booking within five (5) days of the reservation, Lanhydrock H&GC reserve the right to retain up to 50% of the total green fee. This would not include any hire items made with the original booking.
If you fail to cancel your booking before the day of play or are a ‘no show' then any payment including hire items will be retained in full.
COURSE CLOSED
If you are unable to commence your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather) within one hour of your reserved time, any pre payment will be refunded.
BOOKING TRANSFERABLE
The Booking is completely Transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend.
GOLFING ABILITY: In choosing to play the LHK, you are expected to be able to play to a reasonable standard and follow the etiquette of golf in conduct and with special reference to an acceptable level of speed of play and not hinder within reason fellow players enjoyment. If failing to observe these standards LHK will inform you of how you can improve. If this fails then we require you to leave the course and no refund will be given.
Any Open Competition made available to book online requires entrants with an Official Handicap. Full payment will be taken at the time of booking.
DRESS CODE
Normal dress code applies which includes collarless golf shirts, short sports socks, tailored shorts. The following are therefore not permitted: non tailored shorts, football tops. The Professional and his staff can advise you prior to play. We also reserve the right to ask any visitor inappropriately dressed to leave the course.
GOLF SHOES
It is strongly recommended that proper Golf Shoes are worn as training shoes etc provide little or no grip. Soft Spikes or dimple shoes only permitted. No metal Spikes.
EXTREME WEATHER
LIGHTNING: The management strongly recommends that all golfers leave the course when there is the threat of lightning and that they do not return to the course until the threat has diminished.
FOG: Golfers are advised that it is their decision alone on whether or not to continue play, as it is recognised that the situation can improve or worsen by the minute.
The recommendation by the management is that each golfer should consider their own personal safety, and the safety of others, in their decision as to whether conditions are safe to continue.
INSURANCE:
All players are required to hold sufficient insurance to participate with golf at the Club. This must include personal liability as a minimum. Remember your responsibilities.
COURSE WORKERS
With the emphasis of Health & Safety, Greens staff have priority on the course AT ALL TIMES.
ALTERATION OF TEE TIME
Lanhydrock H&GC reserves the right (extremely rare) to move your tee time if required. If this is not suitable for you and you wish to cancel then no charge will be made.
BUGGIES
We have 18 Electric Golf Buggies for hire at a cost of £25.00 for 18 holes. 12 of these buggies can be booked online. If the site shows no availability please call the Golf Shop on 01208 262570 where we will endeavour to make further buggies available for your booking.
Please note that if you reserve a buggy online you will be committed to pay for that hire on the day of play whether you require it or not if not previously cancelled. Buggies may only be operated by persons aged eighteen (18) or over.
