These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility. Payment ======= To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. To secure your reservation a 100% charge will be deducted from your card. When you turn up for your round of golf, you should report to the Pro-Shop before beginning your round. Cancellation Policy =================== Bookings cancelled with greater than 7 days notice will receive a full refund. Bookings cancelled with greater than 3 days notice will receive a 50% refund. Bookings cancelled with less than 3 days notice will receive no refund. To cancel a booking please phone the club on 041 9827170. Course Closed ============= In the event of cancellation by the Club, due to weather conditions or other circumstances, an alternative date for golf will be offered (based on availability) or the prepaid amount will be refunded in full. Booking Transferrable ===================== The booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Bad Weather =========== When lightning or other dangerous conditions occurs, players will be asked to leave the links and take shelter. Any visitors who fail to comply with such a request remain on the links at their own risk. Slow Play ========= Please avoid slow play at all times. To ensure the proper flow of play on the course, slow players, if they have not already done so, may be asked to call following matches through. Golf Ireland Rate ================= Please note this rate only applies to Irish Residents who hold an active Golf Ireland Membership AND a current valid Irish driving licence or Northern Ireland driving license. Both a Golf Ireland Membership card & qualifying driving license will be required on check in and will be subject to verification. Any person that has booked this rate online and cannot produce a valid Golf Ireland card/number with an accompanying driving license, as above, will pay the difference compared to the visitor rate on check in. Open Competitions ================= You must be a member of the Golf Ireland to compete in an open competition. Players will be asked to provide photographic ID to confirm their identity. An open competition entry fee will not be refunded if it is cancelled less that 24hrs before the time of play. Privacy Statement ================= Laytown & Bettystown Golf Club does not collect any personal data about you on this website, apart from information which you volunteer. Any information which you provide in this way is not made available to any third parties, and is used by Laytown & Bettystown Golf Club only in line with the purpose for which you provided it. Any personal information which you volunteer to Laytown & Bettystown Golf Club will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Acts, 1988 & 2003. Handicaps ========= Golf Ireland or World Handicap System cards must be produced when playing in an Open Competition. Dress Code ========== Neat dress must be worn at all times. The wearing of collarless t-shirts and caps of any description is strictly forbidden. No sports shorts or football jerseys allowed in the clubhouse or on the course. Track suits or track suit bottoms not permitted on the golf course. No sports equipment or bags allowed in the bar. Children must be properly supervised at all times. No children under the age of 16 allowed in the bar after 7.30pm All guests must be signed in by a member. Anyone transgressing these rules will be asked to leave. Spikes ====== Soft spikes only on the course. Any footwear worn on the course should not be worn in the lounge or bar upstairs. Golf Buggies The club has 9 buggies that can be booked. Please contact the Pro Shop to reserve a buggy.
