These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility. The Committee reserves the right to modify the undernoted conditions in certain circumstances at their discretion. CASUAL GOLF ======= To book a tee time on-line please enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. FULL payment will be taken from your card at time of booking. See Cancellation Policy below OPEN COMPETITIONS ================== To book a tee time on-line you please enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. FULL payment will be taken from your card at time of booking. If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before play, a refund will be issued on request to the Club on 01467 642225 option 3. If you cancel your booking less than 7 days in advance, there will be no refund. You must be a member of an Affiliated Club or National association and have a valid handicap index to enter Open competitions (the maximum handicap index allocation will be Ladies/Girls 36, Gents/Boys 28). Please note that you can transfer your booking to someone else. The Committee may move your tee time within 1/2 hour if required to avoid gaps in the draw. Cancellation Policy re Casual Golf bookings =========================================== If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before play, a refund will be issued on request to the Club on 01467 642225 option 3. If you cancel your booking less than 48 hours in advance, there will be no refund. Please see cancellation policy for Open Competitions, you can also transfer your booking to someone else. Weather Conditions ------------------ If you want to check course status, please call the Pro Shop on 01467 642225 option 1. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), your credit/debit card will be refunded. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely Transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Course Safety / Risk Assessment ==================== Players are asked to observe the Safety document which will be issued by The Professional Shop prior to play. Handicaps ========= If you don't have a handicap, you must be able to play to an equivalent standard. 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). You must have a valid handicap index to enter Open competitions (the maximum handicap index allocation will be Ladies/Girls 36, Gents/Boys 28) Dress Code ========== Our Dress Code is Smart/Casual. Normal golf wear on and off the course. Tailored shorts are required where applicable. No football tops or sleeveless tee shirts/vests are permitted. Hats/caps/visors should not be worn in the Clubhouse. Spikes ====== Spikes may be worn. Spikes are not permitted upstairs in the Clubhouse. Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on 01467 642225 option 3.
