Green Fee Rates

Although the club has standard green fee rates for weekdays and weekends,
we do offer reduced price greenfees for certain times of the day, particularly
if you are prepared to avoid the busiest times.

Scottish residents rates are only available to those whose home address has a
Scottish Postcode, excluding July and August. Proof will be required on check in by way of a council tax
or utility bill. Anyone arriving without proof will be charged a full greenfee
rate

These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our online booking facility.

Payment
=======
You will be required to pay in full to secure your booking using the payment portal via ClearAccept.
The amount of payment will be dependent on the date of play as well as the size of your party.

Cancellation Policy
===================
You can cancel your booking by contacting the club in advance.

Any cancellations less than 24 hours prior to date of play will not be refunded or rescheduled. This includes any bookings not arriving on the day.

A full refund or rescheduled date of play will be granted for bookings cancelled up to 7 days prior to the date of play.

Rescheduling between 7 days and 24 hours prior to the date of play will be at the discretion of the club however if changes to your booking result in the loss of a tee off time, all payment will be retained.

The booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend.

St Andrews Old Course Ballot
=========================
It is well known that a large number of visitors to the area are interested in entering the Old Course Ballot however we urge that our cancellation policy is firmly understood before booking as no exceptions to accommodate this will be made.

Course Closed
=============
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being
closed (e.g. adverse weather conditions), you will be offered an alternative date
or a full refund.

Juniors 
=======
The Junior rate applies to players aged 17 years and younger on the day of play. Please note that a Junior visitor must be accompanied by an adult on the course at all times.

Handicaps
=========
We do not require proof of handicap to play on the course, however we do
expect all players to be regular golfers and of a standard to complete a
round of golf in a timely manner. If it becomes clear that anyone is not at
a standard to achieve this, the club reserve the right to ask them to leave the
course and a full refund will be provided.

Caddie Service
=============
Please note that we do not currently provide a caddie service however do permit those booked privately by visitors, access to the course.

Buggy/Trolley Services
====================
Use of a trolley is subject to availability and should be paid for at the starter's office on the day of arrival by either cash, credit card or debit card.

We have a very limited number of buggies available at the course for members use but visitors with a medical certificate can reserve if available. This would be paid for on the day of arrival at the starter's office.

Dress Code
==========
The club has a very traditional dress code. Full details can be found
on our website under the visitor information tab. Of particular note however is that we prefer the wearing of knee length long socks or short white ankle socks if wearing shorts.  Shirts must have a collar and not be worn outside the waistband. 
Denim clothing, training shoes and football or rugby shirts are not allowed on the course or in the clubhouse.

Etiquette 
========
Whilst we would prefer all golfers to have a recognised golf handicap, any regular golfers who are aware of etiquette and able to get round the course in good time will be welcomed. If there is a faster game playing behind or you have fallen behind the game in front, please let it through to keep the course moving and to make sure everyone enjoys their round of golf to the full. Mobile phones should not be used on the course and can only be used from the Car Park, away from the 18th green or in the clubhouse from the telephone booth in the hallway. We ask that all mobile phones are either switched off or on silent mode. We do not permit the playing of loud music during a round. We appreciate that visitors may want to take photographs during their round however we ask that this does not interrupt play for other parties. We do not permit the use of drones unless granted by the club secretary beforehand.

Golf Buggies

The course in it's design provides a very easy walk and we ask those that can
do so to chose this option. Manual and electric trollies are available for
hire at the starters office. For those who couldn't otherwise play without
one, The Club has a limited number of buggies that can be booked. If you require a
buggy, you should contact the Starters Office direct on [email protected]
