Ganton Golf Club Ltd, Station Road, Ganton, Scarborough, North Yorkshire YO12 4PA These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times. DRESS CODE: -------------- Normal golf club dress codes apply as shown on the Club website www.gantongolfclub.com. Please note that jacket & tie is required in the dining room after 11.30 am. The following are NOT permitted anywhere at the Club: Trainers, denim jeans, tee-shirts (collarless and/or sleeveless), hoodies, rugby/football tops & athletic or cargo shorts. SHORTS: Tailored shorts may be worn preferably with knee length socks however shorter socks are acceptable. SHOES: Course - Golf shoes must be worn on the course with soft spikes. Please take care in damp conditions as some areas of the course can be slippery. Clubhouse - No trainers OR golf shoes may be worn in the Clubhouse. Payments ------------ To book a tee time on-line you will need to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. Payment will be taken at the time of booking. When you arrive for your round of golf, you should report to the Professionals Shop before beginning your round and show them your confirmation details. Cancellation Policy ----------------------- If you wish to can cancel your booking please call the Club on 01944 710329 quoting your unique reference number. In the event of cancellation by, or on behalf of the player, the prepaid amount will be refunded on request as follows: More than 30 days before the date of play - 100% Less than 30 days before the date of play - 50% Less than 15 days before the date of play - 25% Less than 7 days before play - 0% In the event of cancellation by the Club due to weather conditions or other circumstances, the prepaid amount will be refunded on request in full. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ---------------------------------------- If you fail to cancel your booking no refunds will be offered. Course Closed ----------------- If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), you will receive a full refund of your green fee or move it to another day and/or time, subject to availability. Booking Transferable -------------------------- The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Please ensure they are aware of the booking conditions. Handicaps ------------- Handicap certificates are not required for general play, however Ganton is a challenging championship course and as such players must have the ability to play to a reasonable standard to ensure their enjoyment and those players on the course at the same time. Players failing to comply with this requirement may be asked to leave the course & no refund will be offered. Golf Buggies Buggies are only available to golfers who cannot play the course without the aid of a buggy.  Medical certificates may be required. Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant Catering is available everyday from 8.30am, earlier by request, until 6pm. If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on 01944 710329.
