This service allows you to book a tee time at our golf course online and get instant on-screen and email confirmation of your booking. Click here to book a tee time on the 1st Tee. Green Fee Rates GREENFEES: Although the club has standard green fee rates for weekdays and weekends, we offer savings for certain times of the day, particularly if you are prepared to avoid the busiest times, or if you book at the last minute. The price quoted is the price you pay. There is no booking fee. Payment Options The following credit and debit cards are acceptable: Terms and Conditions Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a tee time. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our online booking facility. Payment ======= To book a tee time online you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. Payment for any tee time and Open Competitions will be taken in full at the time of booking. When you turn up for your round of golf you should report to the pro shop before beginning your round. If the pro shop is closed, you should call in after your round is complete. Cancellation & Refund Policy ============================ You have the right to cancel any casual booking made online - if cancelled more than seven days in advance of the booking date any payments made will be refunded. If you cancel your booking 7 day or less in advance, a deposit (being 10% of the full value of the booking) will be retained with any payment over and above this amount refunded. If you cancel an Open Competition booking more than 2 weeks in advance a full refund will be made. If you cancel your booking less than 2 weeks in advance no refund will be made. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. Course Closure ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed/play being suspended (e.g. due to bad weather), no charge will be made to your credit/ debit card. In Open Competitions players should be prepared to proceed as per Rule 5-7. Refunds will be issued to any players unable to play at all due to course closure/suspension of play. The Committee, at its discretion, may decide to offer partial refunds or limited alternative golf to players who do not have the option/opportunity to complete their round due to suspension of play. The Committee will decide if the course is closed or if play is to be suspended and when play is to be resumed and its’ decision will be final. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= This facility is only available to golfers who have a CONGU handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don't have a handicap, you must be able to play to an equivalent standard. In addition those playing in Open Competitions must have a 'competition' handicap. Dress Code ========== Normal golf dress code applies. The following are therefore not permitted: blue denim, cargo shorts, long shorts (i.e. below the knee), sports shorts, athletic/football/vest shirts, collarless shirts, tracksuits (except u16's) and trainers (except u16's) When in the lounge/bar/dining areas members and visitors are asked to be clean & tidy at all times - no wet or dirty clothing is allowed. Men are asked to wear socks at all times. Long socks or white ankle socks for golf. Men are asked to wear Jacket & Tie and ladies equivalent smart attire when attending functions in the Dining Room. Spikes ====== Spikes may be worn on the course but are restricted to the changing rooms and spike bar in the clubhouse. Buggy Hire ========== The club has buggies for hire. If you require a buggy please call the Pro Shop for availability (01606 883800) - do not add as an 'additional requirement' on your online booking. Anyone wishing to use a buggy in a Club Competition will need to provide proof that a buggy is required (e.g. a letter from their doctor).
