Terms and conditions for booking tee times using this portal ------------------------------------------------------------ Payment for Open Competitions ----------------------------- To book a time you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. Cancellation Policy ------------------- If you wish to cancel your booking you must contact the Club direct quoting your unique ref number. Provided you cancel your booking more than 1 week before your date of play, you will receive a full refund of your entry fee. If you cancel your booking less than 1 week in advance, there will be a charge of 50% of the fee with the balance being refunded. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ------------------------------ If you fail to cancel your booking, or cancel on the day of the event, there will be no refund. Course Closed ------------- If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), you have the option to transfer your booking to a new date or to receive a refund. Booking Transferable -------------------- The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your start time, you can offer this time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Open Competition Entry Requirements ----------------------------------- Open Competitions are for members of affiliated golf clubs only, players with Handicap's held by iGolf are not eligible to enter. All players must have a WHS Handicap Index of 36 or less (men) or 42 or less (ladies). Handicap restrictions and allowances are shown in the conditions of each competition. In order to be eligible to win the competition or be awarded any competition winnings, a player must have completed a minimum of five Handicap Qualifying Scores in the preceding 12 month period. Players / teams in prize winning positions will have their playing history checked on the WHS Platform after completion of the competition. Dress Code ---------- All players are expected to wear appropriate golfing attire. Tailored shorts with sports or knee length socks are permitted. Tee shirts without collars, denim clothing and trainers are NOT permitted.  Players are expected to change soiled clothing before using the clubhouse. Footwear -------- Soft Spikes are preferred at all times on the golf course. Golf shoes are NOT permitted in the clubhouse. Chesterfield Golf Club reserves the right to refuse or cancel entries to competitions that are otherwise open to non- members of the Club. In the event that an entrance fee has been received in advance of the competition and a decision taken to cancel the entry, the fee will be returned. Golf Buggies The club has 5 buggies (2 person) that can be booked. If you require a buggy, please contact the golf club direct to check availability. We also have a number of hire trolleys available from the Pro Shop. **Please be aware that buggies and all other additional requirements must be requested and confirmed directly with the club by calling 01246 279256.** We ask that you NOT use the 'Additional Requirements' when entering your personal details, as this does not always come through to us.
