Green Fee Rates

The green fee price quoted is the price you pay. There is no booking fee. For large parties or green fee queries, please contact the office.

These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times at Alwoodley Golf Club.

Payment
=======
To book a tee time online, we ask you to enter your credit or
debit card details using our secure online payment process.
All online tee bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Should you require a corporate invoice, this must be agreed in advance 
with the office.

Cancellation Policy in relation to Covid-19
===========================================
Stay and Play visitors will be entitled to a full refund for cancellation more than 30 days in advance, except that any hotel/self-catering cancellation fee will be deducted before the refund is made.

For visitor bookings of up to 2 tee times, a full offer refund will be made for cancellation up to 14 days in advance less any cancellation fees for hotel/self catering, and an offer to reschedule any cancellation within 14 days or provide a 50% refund.

For visitor bookings of 3 tee times or more a full refund will be offered for cancellation more than 30 days in advance, less any hotel/self catering cancellation fees, and within 30 days a 50% refund or an offer to reschedule.

Course Closed
=============
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being
closed (e.g. bad weather), you will be offered an alternative date.

Booking Transferable
====================
The booking is completely transferable within the calendar year. Therefore, 
should you be unable to make your tee time, you can transfer the tee time to 
someone else such as a family member or friend.

Autumn & Winter Golf
====================
We prefer visitors to carry their clubs during the autumn and winter seasons if at all possible.

Handicaps
=========
It is preferable to have a good handicap to play Alwoodley.

'Competition' Handicaps are required for Open competitions.

Dress Code
==========
Course - Smart golfing attire must be work at all times.  The wearing of denim jeans, 
tracksuits, replica (eg football) shirts and trainers as golf shoes is not permitted.  
Gentlemen may wear tailored shorts and the wearing of single colour knee length 
socks is preferred, although short white socks may be worn.  Soft spikes are preferred.

Clubhouse - Smart casual dress throughout the day with jacket and tie required
in the Dining Room after 6.00pm.

Tees
====
Visitors must use yellow/red tees unless otherwise agreed with the Club.

Buggies
=======
Only the buggies provided by the Club may be used.  Permission will only be given 
for medical reasons and must be sought in advance from the Professional.

Insurance
=========
Visitors' golf equipment and other property is entirely at their own risk.  
Visitors should carry insurance against third party liability.

Golf Buggies

The Club has 4 buggies on site which may be pre-booked by those golfers with medical conditions. If you need to use a buggy for your round, please contact the Professional on 0113 268 9603 or [email protected]

Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc

If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these
requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club
