Full payment is required upon booking your tee-time using our secure on-line payment process.
These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility.
Payment
=======
To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process.
When you arrive for your round of golf you should register in the Professionals Shop with Ian or James before beginning your round.
Cancellation Policy
===================
You may cancel your booking by contacting the Professional Ian Marshall on 01977 706806 or the Office on 01977 792241 option 1 quoting your unique ref number.
For all Open competitions a FULL ENTRY FEE will be required at time of booking. Should you cancel more than 30 days prior to the event a full refund will be given, if cancelled less than 30 days prior a full charge may be required and no refund will be given.
Failure to Cancel Your Booking
==============================
No refund will be given if you fail to cancel your booking and do not contact the Club in advance.
Course Closed
=============
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), a full refund will be available and no further charges will be made to your credit/debit card.
Booking Transferable
====================
The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time please contact us to reserve another time.
Handicaps
=========
Whilst it isn't a requirement of the Club to request a handicap index certificate, we still reserve the right to do so if necessary. Pontefract & District will provide a true test of golf and as such players must have the ability to play to a reasonable standard to ensure their enjoyment and that of other players on the course at the same time.
Dress Code
=========
We aim to make your day as comfortable as possible, all we ask is you follow our etiquette policy as below.
CLUBHOUSE -Denim Jeans and Jackets, Collarless Shirts or Training Shoes may NOT be worn on the Course. Tailored shorts are allowed when worn with predominately WHITE Socks. In addition,shirts with loud logos, numbers etc. are not allowed. No golf shoes of any kind are permitted in the Clubhouse, please change in the locker rooms before entering the lounge and 19th bar.
COURSE The rules and etiquette of golf to be strictly observed, along with instructions from the Professional with regard to the starting point. Play from YELLOW TEES only. Please do not throw litter on the course. Visitors must observe directional signs. Please replace divots, repair pitch marks and smooth out bunkers.
